Khalsa Secondary Model United Nations
February 28/March 1, 2026 • Khalsa Secondary School
Khalsa Secondary Model United Nations is a conference for Model UN clubs and teams from Lower Mainland-based schools to come together and engage in debate. A two-day Model United Nations conference held at Khalsa Secondary School in Surrey, KSMUN is a wonderful way for MUN beginners to enter the world of Model UN and have their first-ever MUN experience with the guidance of intermediate delegates. The second iteration will be held this spring on February 28 and March 1st. The KSMUN program simulates world diplomacy, encouraging our delegates to become more informed, educated, and thoughtful global citizens in an increasingly complicated environment.
KSMUN is held by students representing the energy and enthusiasm of the Khalsa Secondary School MUN Team. After being introduced to the MUN world three years ago by one of our amazing Humanities teachers, Mr. Macdonald, we quickly advanced as individuals wanting to explore more opportunities and stumbled upon the idea of hosting our conference. At the many conferences we have been to, we encountered very few Surrey and Delta public school students, which made us want to cater our conference to them. This conference is our humble attempt to increase the cultural demographic that participates in Model UN and introduce our passion to as many people as possible. As a Sikh school, we aim to establish a distinctive presence in the Model United Nations.
Delegates at KSMUN will be immersed in a thriving, steady-paced environment, working together to create practical and dynamic solutions to the world's most pressing problems. Our advanced committee line-up will allow students to think critically, collaborate with others, propose constructive resolutions, and develop diplomatic skills that are more important than ever.
