Gurjot Dulai | Secretary General

Since stepping into the vast world of Model United Nations in Grade 9, Gurjot has been amazed by the fascinating experiences MUN offers. From giving her first speech in the World Health Organization representing the Dominican Republic to helping arrange this conference, she has truly grown. Outside of Model UN, Gurjot enjoys painting, reading crime novels, and teaching tricks to her pet birds. She hopes this first iteration of KSMUN will succeed, leaving delegates with new and cherished memories.

Rehat Hehar | Director General

Now in her senior year at Khalsa Secondary School, Rehat is honoured to serve as the Director General for this year’s conference. Her Model UN journey began back in Grade 9, when she walked into her first committee with a rehearsed‑a‑billion‑times speech and a determination to survive whatever chaos awaited. From being too shy to raise her placard to now helping run the entire event, her MUN experience has been filled with growth, unexpected lessons, and a lot of laughter. Rehat is beyond excited to welcome all delegates this year and hopes that every attendee will leave with great memories.

Gurtej Bhandal | USG of Delegate Affairs

As a Grade 12 student at Khalsa Secondary School, Gurtej is delighted to serve as the USG of Delegate Affairs at KSMUN 2026. From her first venture into Model United Nations in Grade 10, and has since been both challenged and inspired. Her first conference in UNHRC was terrifying, but it quickly became something she loved and excelled in. Through demanding committee sessions and early morning crises, MUN has helped her find her voice and given her the courage to push beyond her comfort zone. That initial fear turned into confidence, and today she stands as a member of this conference’s secretariat team. Outside of Model UN, she enjoys catching up on sleep, reading, and baking. She hopes this conference leaves delegates feeling inspired, proud of their efforts, and excited for the journey ahead.

Simrat Matreja | USG of Outreach

As a Grade 12 student at Khalsa Secondary School, Simrat is honoured to be serving as the USG of Outrach for KSMUN 2026. Since joining Model United Nations in Grade 9, Simrat has been intrigued by competitive delegates’ endless energy and confidence and the extent to which relevant world issues were tackled. From being a novice delegate raising her placard for the first time as Austria in WHO to leading the hosting duties of their school conference, the memories and experiences of MUN have made her the speaker and leader she is today. Outside the committee room, Simrat may be found overusing her Thesaurus, adding to her ever-growing list of responsibilities, or bravely attempting to tutor her younger brother. She looks forward to guiding delegates at KSMUN 2026 and has already begun compiling a list of adjectives for the unfaltering and verbose speeches she will be listening to.

Gurnoor Turna | USG of Media

As a Grade 12 student at Khalsa Secondary School, Gurnoor is ecstatic to serve as the USG of Media for KSMUN 2026. Since embarking on her MUN journey as a wide-eyed Grade 9, Gurnoor has developed new interests she thought she would never engage in. From being told to prohibit the use of personal pronouns in Interpol as Cuba to becoming part of the well-equipped staff at KSMUN, she has learned the ways of the MUN world. She takes delight in strongly stating her facts while delegates bang their tables in agreement, just as much as she enjoys screaming out song lyrics at the delegate social. Outside the committee room, Gurnoor can be seen at the karate dojo, watching the next movie on her extensive list, or at the gym with her headphones on their loudest setting. She hopes to create an encouraging environment for all delegates and to make KSMUN 2026 a memorable experience.

Sujaan Gill | USG of IT & Finance

Currently, a junior attending Khalsa Secondary School, Sujaan is excited for KSMUN 2026 as the conference USG of IT and Finance. Sujaan’s journey in MUN began his freshman year, with stories to tell involving giving speeches on aliens and extraterrestrial life invading our committees, removing the US from NATO in preference of the Russian Federation nuking all democratic countries and replacing the remains with dictatorships. Since his first speech, Sujaan has come a long way (not in ideology, though) and is stoked for KSMUN 2026. Outside of MUN, he can be found programming, struggling with countless math and physics problems and trying to engineer a robot. Sujaan looks forward to KSMUN 2026 and hopes that all delegates partake in exhilarating and memorable debates.
